Workshop – a team effort
Workshops are aimed at working in teams on a given project or problem. The consultant acts mainly as a facilitator, whereas the participants are the creators of their own solutions. They follow the rules of teamwork. The consultant guides the process and contributes to its final resolution using their experience; however, they don´t share the responsibility for making decisions.
Course – interactive seminar and training
Courses are primarily aimed at gaining essential knowledge and especially at training of relevant skills. We offer two types of courses: standard courses developing basic soft skills and tailor-made courses for those in more demanding positions (mainly top managers and the most experienced specialists) having a greater share of self-reflection and consultancy.
Course methods
The courses of the Systemicky institut are lead by experienced professionals, usually accredited coaches. Besides having the necessary knowledge and skills relevant to the course objectives, they have practical professional experience with working with people on an individual and group basis.
Our primary goal is that participants are able to apply the knowledge and skills gained in their work to the greatest degree. For this reason, our courses are lead in a highly interactive format, with practical exercise--namely from participants´professional life—taking up the majority of time.
After providing the necessary theory and explanations, we emphasise participants´self-reflection, understanding and discussion about the given issues. Thus they create their own ways of applying what they have learned into practice. This is definitely hands-on learning.
Even though the courses are primarily designed to develop skills, the strength of Systemicky institut´s consultants lies in their ability to bring out changes in participants´thinking.
Our courses combine different activities: presentation, interactive seminar, individual, pair and team work, supervised activities, etc.
